Treasure the title track on Midnite’s first album on the VP Records label and it is one you must listen to very clearly. Anyone that listens to Midnite Knows they have very prophetic lyrics in there music. The song Treasure mentions the fact that eating so-called vegetarian foods are dangerous in these times along with lots of other valuable information you may only hear through there music. Track 4 “Rastafari Now” is like a modern day hymnal delivered very solid by lead singer with mystical voice “Vaughn” calling all Rastafarians all color, race, and creed. Through all the wars and negative chant Rastafari Now is the message. When you get into songs like Germawi, Yield Turn Out, and Rastar its like a musical history book being brought to life through the music of one of the best Reggae bands in the land. One of the tuffest tunes “Gather Them In” rounds out another Midnite collectors album. On the track “Humble Man” reflects back to one of the greatest Reggae Bands Black Uhuru. Like any other I could go on but this is surely a album I give one of the highest ratings. It’s what the gospels in the Bible are supposed to be. The album is a Five Star, Sure Shot, %94 cause nothing is perfect and there is always room for improvement.

Vaughn Benjamin of Midnite self-produced this powerfully unique collection of tunes recorded in St. Croix alongside great musicians such as Kenyatta Itola, Edmund Filleteau and Tippy I. Check out the heavyweight rumbling of "Citadel" and the mystical tones and message of "Mexicanadamerica". Check this latest chapter in the Midnite body of works.

Vaughn Benjamin explores new sonic territory on this largely self-produced release recorded in his own Frederiksted studio. Alongside producer/engineer Jahronie, bassist Kenyatta Itola and guitarist Edmund, Vaughn Benjamin has crafted a sound unlike any other - with layers of drum syncopation, heavy bass lines and intriguing instrumentation.

This 18-track compilation features four songs from Midnite alonside some of JA's finest conscious reggae artists - Richie Spice, Lutan Fyah, Warrior King, Chezideck, Luciano and Duckie Simpson of BLack Uhuru. The production consists of several of Rastar's riddims released over the past few years along with some of Vaughn Benjamin's own musical arrangements.

This project is a follow-up release to "Better World Rasta" and like that powerful album, these new works feature production by the legendary Black Uhuru. Supplemented with some strong arrangements by Vaughn Benjamin, Jahronie and Dean Fishback, this album is excellent from start to finish. Another Rastar compilation featuring kings of modern roots: Midnite, Turbulence, Norrisman, Jah Mason & Lutan Fyah. This one features several previously-unreleased Midnite tunes that you'll find no where else.

Vaughn Benjamin words sound and classic reggae riddims make for an unforgettable collection of songs. From the opening track – with Vaughn's indelible lyrical stamp on top of a bona fide Black Uhuru riddim – you know that this is a special album. Better World Rasta also features several of Vaughn Benjamin's own productions, with musicians like Ronnie Benjamin, Tyrone "T-Rock" Davis and Tippy I laying down heavy soundscapes. A must-have.

The Rastar Records presents this powerful riddim album that features some of the top artists out of the VI and Jamaica. Several big tunes over this rootsy, upful riddim - such as Niyorah's "We Shall See", Midnite's "Gi Dem" and a classic cut by Gregory Issacs called "Save Ethiopia." This compilation shows that the oneness of Rastafari-Reggae music is bigger than any one island. Highly recommended - especially for DJs.
